Forgot to post here about this, but my online store is back open with lots of various goodies!
Get them here! Sup guys? I'll cut to the chase.
Last year was extremely difficult on me, art show wise. From pushing myself despite being burnt out, dealing with sleazy gigs, and events bumping up their fees to the same cost as rent money (But then not having the crowd to make the money back.), I decided to take a break from vending until further notice. I've been vending for seven years and never took a break, despite feeling it hard back in 2019. It was difficult, but necessary. I really felt my arts quality was suffering due to constantly crunching and not giving it the energy it deserved. And forcing myself to stop really helped me reground myself and take a look at how far I've come from my efforts. My work has improved so much since I started putting my work out there. But for now, I need to go back to my roots to improve more. No, I will not stop doing my art. In fact, this gives me the much needed time to do more. This year I'll be solely working with The Hive Gallery and their monthly galleries. Later in spring I'll be reopening my online store with better quality items. And I'm also working on a big project that I'm under a NDA at this time that I can't wait to show you all. Thank you all for your continued support and I can't wait to show you what I got to offer! -CM Happy 2024! I'll be having a few of my paintings featured at The Hive Gallery for sale. Come check us out!
Hey fledglings! Long time, no talk!
After a much needed rest, I am back in the game and will be selling with Raven Socitea. I will be making exclusive content for this show and possibly another one in September. First time for everything, right?
Well not only is this Horror Con's first ever event, but it's also my first time that a convention personally reached out to me to have a booth spot! Got lots of fun exclusive work for this con only! So you definitely don't want to miss out! More info here! I am honored to once again be collaborating with Hive Gallery. This is also my first ever collaboration with another creative!
AnythingSews aka Joanne Mary Spotswood Storytime: Joanne and I met during our time in art school. Her work matches her personality very well. Cozy and heart warming. So mixing our very contrasting aesthetics will be a very fun experience. Cozy creepy! Hahaha! So Market of the Beast is an interesting group I discovered during the pandemic. They hosted a variety of virtual shows, so it only made sense that I joined their first Los Angeles pop up!
More info here So I had the honor of having my 4th interview about myself and my art journey with CanvasRebel! I really put my heart into this one! Check it out here!
I have the honor of being featured with many other talented artists for the Women of Horror exhibit, witches edition, at the Offbeat, September 17th, 2022! I'll be posting more information on my social media. I am genuinely so excited for this!
